Our faculty members obtain over two million dollars in research grants each year. Over 500 graduate students, including about 100 PhD students, and several post-doctoral fellows and invited researchers contribute to research in our department.

Research Centres

Currently there are 3 Research Centres within the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department:

  • The Centre for Industrial Control (CIC) est. in 1983
  • Concordia Centre for Advanced Vehicle Engineering (CONCAVE) est. in 1985
  • The Concordia Center for Composites (CONCOM) est. in 1979

Proceedings of the PhD seminars
